monday morning.... arrived rather fast... too fast (uuuugh!)... especially after a cold, rainy sunday. who would want to part from the warmth of a pink blanket, thick chenille sox and the comfort of hanna (my 14 year old maine coone cat) curled up snuggly across my lap, as i continued to dance around in dreamland? what could 6:00 a.m. on a monday morning possibly offer that would entice one to leave such luxury? well, on this monday morning.... nothing. feel a bit guilty... probably should have forced myself to shed the covers and plant my feet on the floor... introduce my body to some warm water and soap... pretty myself up to be presentable... and get on with being a responsible participant in the 9 to 5 real world... but that didn't happen. and, at nearly 8pm, i still have the bead head hair to prove it! attractive? quite!

i was busy though, in-between naps.... (don't want to give the impression that i was a total and complete sloff.... ) ... i did actually knit a hat! a pretty damn cute one, too! so cute that i am tempted to keep it for myself, but know that when i like something so much, it makes my heart feel good to give it away to someone else. hmmmmmm.....

found some nice, bright, crochet flowers, (no, not to wear on my prom gound, ernie!), in Country Living magazine... the proceeds go to Aids and Artisans and benefit the craftswomen in Macedonia who create them. ($16/ea..... to order call 860.947.3441 ext. 2). perhaps a few to decorate some of my knit projects would be nice... i think so!
