Felting

Yay... I only have 2 more inches to knit in the round of this little handbag before I can bind off, sew the bottom seam and then FELT the body of the bag! I'm expecting to complete it tonight - and it will be my first attempt at felting anything... so we'll see just how easy? it is. Hopefully I'll be successful and it will come out the size of a handbag and NOT a wallet, or worse, a change purse! Guess I'll have to really keep my eye on the ol' washing machine.

I took a quiet break mid-day today - got out of the office and took a drive over to Coffee Bean Tea Leaf... had an Iced Blended "Ultimate" for lunch - delicious/refreshing. Found a large pine tree to park under and spent an hour reading my book... with only one distraction - that of a large pinecone bombing me on the head through my opened sun roof. OUCH! Have to admit, it rather startled me... I felt a bit silly when I discovered the cone rolling around on the floor of the back seat.
