You can't even imagine how very anxious I am for the weekend to arrive... Not that I have any fabulous plans or anything.... but moreso because of the thought of sleeping in (what a wonderful thought!) having absolutely no comittments on my schedule.. Silly, but I guess I just look forward to having a couple of days of unplanned time... to do whatever... whenever. Translated: Run some errands in town, read, perhaps see a movie... and, this is a 'given' - K.N.I.T. I know, I know... it's exhausting just reading about it, right!? What can I say? It's the little pleasures in life that I treasure. Simplicity. Love it!I'm sure you're waiting with baited breadth to know..... Well... last evening, while watching my weekly episode of American Masters on PBS out of the corner of one eye (a profile on Samuel Goldwyn, the movie mogul - fascinating history lesson about Tinsle Town!)... I am happy to say that, with the other eye, I was was able to focus on (and finally complete) the body of the handbag I've been making this week! It sure took a lot of knitting in the round to get it to 14". But now it's all stitched up and ready to take an agitated whirl in the washing machine when I get home later today. I should probably take a B-4 and after picture... that way I'll be able to share with you the level of my success (or lack there of) with the whole felting process. Keeping my fingers crossed that things go as planned.
Love . Leigh
