... Yay - I finished the pink fuzzy capelet last nite.... Sooooooooo cute! Now I just have to get some black satin ribbon that I'll thread through the eyelit created at the collar... that way, when worn, it can be closed at the neck by tying a bow. Very vintage.... Love it! I'll probably add something shiney/sparkley to it, since it's a Christmas gift.... that will dress it up just right for party outings. It was such an easy pattern - timely due to the number of stitches (co 120) and rows (50)... on a size 11 circular.... I was quite pleased with how it turned out, especially the decorative collar that was created from the yo/k2get repetition ... Needless to say, come Saturday, I'll be back at the yarn store getting material for the next one... But, before I start on that, I've got to finish the bead work on the biggy print capelet that I made last week. I'm also very tempted to start making some finger-less gloves and mittens for my family and friends on the East Coast and in Europe. Though I've not yet ventured into using double-pointed needles, how hard can it be, right? There's a great book that came out a year or so ago called Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick and Erika McConnell which offers some fun patterns for gloves and mittens.... Time to pull that one back off the shelf! Obsessed? Who, me? Naaaaaaahhhhh.... Okay... I gotta go be productive for awhile... n-joy your day!
Love.Leigh
