... i've got knitting on my mind... (what'z new, right?!) ... and i can't wait to cast on the chunky misty alpaca (i just purcha$ed an array of lovely colors) and make some more cable beanies... yeah, yeah... i know... spring is here and who'z gunna be needin' to wear a soft, cozy beanie to keep their head warm? ... fishermen, maybe... somewhere off the coast of New England.... but here in surf city, well - what better excuse to hike the air conditioning up so that the house gets a nice little chill in the air... resulting in a need to adorn one's self in knitted accessories! anyway... the beanies are my "yoga" that i run to when i run into pattern problems on the more "intense" project i'm currently working through. i just back-knit 13 rounds (oh, a rather tedious way to spend the last three evenings)... so, having a little beanie to turn to for some knitting time that requires no thinking and allows me to simply enjoy the rhythm of the process... well, ya' can't beat that!anyway.... i'll be Baaaaaaaaaaack (that's sheep talk) soon with more project updates... the stash is growing... and the ideas just keep on coming!
