Cursed Sleeves!#?!!
O-Mi-Gosh! Will I EVER finish the "Divine" sleeves? I kid you not, I am STILL working on them... STILL!! And, my favorite fluffy feline became intimately entwined in them on Saturday morning when he decided to jump from his perch on the windowsil onto the kitchen table (nice manners, right?!)... quickly grabbing the yarn in his jaws and TAKING OFF! He dashed from the kitchen thru the family room to the front entrance-way and into the living room... reaching the "unofficial" finish line atop one of his favorite chairs ... yarn still in mouth, being CHEWED! I ran after the aspiring-knitter-cat, following the trail of yarn as it wound it's way around table legs, over chairs and sofas, through doorways... one needle flung to the corner of one room.... one sleeve - now "needle-less" - sitting on the carpet in an unraveled state... and, thankfully, one sleeve still in-place and intact on its needle... YAY! ... Oooops, look a little further... the working yarn was what harry-cat was flossing his teeth with! Once again, I had to cut harry-cat out of my knitting project! I fear that my neighbors probably thought I was being attacked, as I hollered in quite a loud tone at the four-legged-flying-walinda to STOP! STOP! STOP!!!!!!!... but the playful harry turned a deaf ear - the silkience yarn far too tasty to give up!

I think that the skills of cats with regard to yarn lean more towards macrame than knitting... maura flo x
